What should I expect on my first visit to Sport + Spine?

At your first Sport + Spine appointment we begin by learning about you, your ailment or injury, your goals and your lifestyle. Wear loose-fitting, athletic apparel. Plan to arrive a few minutes early to familiarize yourself with our space. We’ll answer all your questions and begin to develop a plan for your physical therapy, performance training and other treatment. We can’t wait to meet you!

What is Sport + Spine’s cash pay policy?

Patients are expected to pay for services in full on date services rendered unless prior arrangements have been made with the billing department. Cash discounts are available for those interested in paying for services in cash on date of service. Please inquire for pricing information.

Can I receive Physical Therapy services without a Physician’s referral?

Yes! Under recent legislation, a doctor’s referral isn’t necessary to receive physical therapy. Patient progress must be made within 10 visits or three weeks, whichever comes first, to continue coverage.

What is Performance Training?

Sport + Spine’s Performance Training goes beyond just fitness training. Each performance training program begins with a full functional movement exam, specific to each client and performed by a physical therapist. The evaluation determines your functional limitations: what’s getting in the way of you reaching your best? Combined with your personal goals, the program is customized to get you living life without limits.

What types of treatments will I receive?

Every patient’s treatment plan is different, and we’ll create a plan to meet your individual needs. Nothing at Sport + Spine is one-size-fits-all. Take a look at our wide variety of treatments and services — you’ll experience the right combination for your body and lifestyle.

What kind of training and education will my Physical Therapist have?

Every physical therapist at Sport + Spine is thoroughly educated, at the top of the field and participates in regular continuing education too. Curious? Take a look at some of our credentials.

Do Physical Therapists have specialization like Physicians?

Many of us have specialties in addition to our physical therapy background, including nutrition, massage, physiology, movement science and so much more. We approach physical therapy as a team, and engage other Sport + Spine professionals when their area of emphasis can help you en route to wellness.
